The ten mile long West Ashley Greenway is just two blocks away and it’s great for walking and biking. Our own private garden with koi pond and waterfall is at your disposal.
We enjoy interacting with guests, but we also believe in giving people their space…especially in these days of social distancing. We are generally available during the day between 8AM and 7PM and we are happy to assist you with local information or any special needs.
The DuPont neighborhood of West Ashley is one of Charleston’s oldest suburbs. It’s just over the War Memorial Bridge and convenient to everything without the downtown cost. If you want to go downtown it’s five minutes away. If you want to walk the gardens, ride a bike, walk the greenway or just stare out across a gorgeous Intracoastal Waterway view, you can do that right here in West Ashley on your own schedule. All of these options are between 2 and 15 minutes away. Folly Beach, Beachwalker County Park at Kiawah, Sullivan’s Island and the Isle of Palms beaches are all reachable in 20 to 30 minutes.
